　　当我们睡着的时候，怪事发生了。现在是半夜，但一切并不平静，所有的声音在黑暗中都被放大了：路过的火车的喇叭声、游泳池过滤器的潺潺声、秋叶划过柏油路的声音。考虑到现在已经很晚了，令人惊讶的是很多人还没睡，车里的夫妇，扶手椅上打电话的老太太，穿着旱冰鞋溜出家门前化妆的男孩......导演的镜头抚摸着这片郊区，凝结着超日常。但这不是一部恐怖片，它更像是一个共同的梦，做梦的人不是梦见电影，而是梦见电影每一个具体的人和物，每个人都被吸引到同一个地方，也恰好是我们在第一个画面中看到的：泥地里的的玉米头。

The bomb was detonated, producing an intense flash and a fireball that expanded to 600 meters in two seconds. The explosive power was equivalent to 18.6 kilotons of TNT. It grew to a height of more than 12 kilometers, boiling up in the shape of a mushroom. 　　因摇滚乐而获罪，我想 史上最为著名的当然是宇宙塑胶人。1976年此乐团吸引了一个忠实的粉丝，那时候该歌迷还是剧作家，他的文集要到很多年才传到我们手里。不久后，这帮坏小子被投进大牢，事实上他们的音乐完全无关政治 ——原因只是吸毒酗酒聚众滥交以及乐器分贝过高这些所谓的摇滚生活罢了。刑期并不长，几个月到一两年不等，但是这场短暂的牢狱之灾让他们青史留名——剧作家被惹怒了，他发动援救抗议活动，并藉此走上政途。接着便是10年后光彩的丝绒革命让这位宇宙塑胶人的铁粉当上了捷克总统。众多关于这个传奇乐团的文章开头都是，一个唱垮了政权的传奇摇滚乐团。
　　是的，尽管身陷囹圄，但西方人所说的真理毕竟还在摇滚乐手们这边。而他们坐牢的差不多同一年，在离捷克异常遥远的东南亚，因为音乐，有无数个摇滚乐手被砍下脑袋，连名字都没能留下。

　　九叔，綽號“夜市市長”，以臨時工的身份掌管中山路夜市三十年。夜市魚龍混雜，九叔管理手段粗礪卻有效。在他的打理下，夜市繁榮，他也甚得領導倚重。九叔在夜市志得意滿，家庭生活卻不順心。他早年身世坎坷，中年經歷多次離婚，晚年又與兒女不和。現在九叔年近七十，繼續以夜市為家。每當夜幕降臨，九叔身穿制服、腰佩警棍，帶領手下坐鎮巡視。臨近午夜，叫上夜市的老兄弟喝酒打牌，然後趁著酒勁招搖過市。
　　但是，百年老街中山路面臨改造，以美食大排檔為主的夜市也將不復存在…
