　　在物质文化中，建筑很能体现一个国家和民族的审美意识和文化传统。追溯那些恢弘的营造最初的缘起，我们找到了“家”的概念：百姓与帝王之家、精神与感情之家、宗教与信仰之家......这些家园在中国数千年的历史变迁里，在幅员辽阔、风格迥异的地理环境中，在多姿多彩德民族风情的滋养下盛开出五色斑斓的花朵，不仅取得了建筑学和美学上的杰出成就，也将当时当地的人文思想与哲学观念凝固在那些砖石土木里，用细节将美的启示代代相传。

Hawking blossomed at Oxford, although he only spent an hour a day studying. He noticed that he was becoming clumsy and fell over for no apparent reason. He was diagnosed with motor neurone disease, but nevertheless started a family and embarked on his academic career, finding himself at the heart of a searing scientific debate about the origins of the universe. And as he lost the use of his body, Hawking had to find new ways to think.
